Lack of maturity and preparation
While preaching, she quickly noted that the institution of marriage was not the problem.
Rather, the problem lies in the lack of preparation and commitment many individuals bring into their relationships.
She said when couples enter marriage without adequate preparation; they are more likely to struggle with issues such as infidelity, communication breakdowns, financial stress, and unresolved conflicts.
This is where the importance of discipline comes in.
Adejumo said discipline means setting aside time daily to pray, meditate, reflect on your values and priorities, and commit to working through problems rather than giving up at the first sign of difficulty.
