Kano State Civil Service Commission Approves Promotion for 231 Senior Officers”
In a recent announcement by the Director of Public Enlightenment at the Civil Service Commission, Musa Garba, the Kano State Civil Service Commission has granted promotions to 231 senior officers serving across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies within the state civil service.
Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Umar Minjibir, shared this information during a recent commission meeting. Alongside promotions, the commission also addressed other cases, including the approval of 50 transfer of service cases, one change of name case, one change of cadre case, and one disciplinary case.
Minjibir emphasized the importance of the promoted and transferred staff members reciprocating this gesture by enhancing their dedication, commitment, and sense of responsibility. Their active participation is crucial for the effectiveness of the civil service in the state.
The chairman also called on all civil servants, particularly those within the commission, to adhere to service rules and maintain strict confidentiality when handling official matters, as required by the oath of secrecy. Furthermore, he urged the heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to promptly address issues related to the progress and advancement of their staff members.
