Adamawa Police Officer Breaks Down In Tears As He Faces Dismissal From The Force
The Adamawa state police command on August 30,2023, tried two officers identified as Insp Ahmed Suleiman and PC Mahmood Muhammed who were attached to Dumne Divisional Police Headquarters in an Orderly room trial.
The Men were tried on three Count Charges, Discreditable Conduct to wit Defamation of Character, Culpable Homicide & Unlawful exercise of Authority Contrary to paragraph “E’ (I) (iii) & ‘Q'(1) (ili) of First Schedule of Police Act & Regulations, Section 370, 2020 as Amended. The Command found them Guilty
as Charged & recommended the punishment of Dismissal for Both Defaulters, they are to be Charged to Court alongside other Co-Suspects.
The Constable was de-kitted & the Inspector will also be de-kitted after fulfilling some Administrative procedures. The Commissioner of Police CP Afolabi
Babatola warned officers & Men of the Command to be punctual & desist from all
Offences against Discipline.
