The commission in a press release signed by Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voters Committee, indicate that the portal is slow to receive some of the result being sent from different states to the national collation centre, and for this reason, it’s slowing the announcement anticipated by Nigerians.
Festus Okoye on behalf of the commission assured Nigerians that the technical team is working assiduously to make the portal respond as it is designed to work.
The commission also assured political parties that the unitcopies issued to the political parties are safe both on the BIVAS and IReV portal.
