The Jigawa State Governor-elect, Umar Namadi, has described his election victory as the will of God and the expression love from the people.
In a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Public Relations, Habibu Kila, the Governor-Elect expressed his appreciation to the Almighty and the good people of Jigawa State for their support and trust in voting for the APC, reassuring them of all-inclusive governance.
Namadi addressing the press shortly after he was declared the winner of the Jigawa State Governorship election under the All Progressive Congress APC, he said he was elected not because he is better than anyone of the rest contestant, but that it’s the will of God.
The Governor elect called on the people of the state to always remain prayerful and committed in the development of the state as he promised to continue with the legacies of his predecessor Governor Badaru Abubakar of prudence and good Governance.
Governor Badaru who rejoiced with the Governor-elect and the people of the state says he was fulfilled by the choice of Umar Namadi as his Successor whom he has confidence in him and also described him as a loyal, hardworking, and prudent in whatever he does.
