Kano APC Reacts to Demolition of Public Properties

The Kano State All progressives Congress (APC) Chapter has reacted to the demolition of public properties by the present administration of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) led by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The party reacted during a press briefing on Tuesday at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat, NUJ, Kano Council.
 The Deputy State Party Chairman, Hon Shehu Maigari, said the actions of the NNPP led administration is signal a bad impression for the citizens and other intra state business partners.
He said: “This barbaric and wanton destruction of the people’s means of livelihood by the State Government, we call for serious prayers by all well-meaning persons as the people are now counting their loses in billions of Naira. 
“This has now paralyzed and brought the commercial activities in the famous Kantin Kwari, Kofar Wambai markets among others to a standstill.”
Hon. Maigari lamented that the actions of the government has developed chaos, rampant vandalism, daylight stealing and grabbing of innocent people’s properties by the youths in the State. 
He called on all those properties were affected to exercise patience, maintain calmness and explore all legal means to protect their properties and seek legal redress for the damages done and losses incurred. 
“We are calling on parents and guardians to caution their children on the danger and implications and desist from being used as agents of destruction by the NNPP led administration.”
Maigari appealed to the security agencies in the State to step up actions that will restore the people’s confidence towards protecting their lives and properties. 
“We assured the good people of Kano State of our support, we will also implore all those affected directly or indirectly to seek redress in the Courts of law.
Party Officials who attended the briefings include; Shehu Maigari (Kano APC Deputy Chairman), Ibrahim Zakari Sarina (Secretary), Ahmad Aruwa (PRO), Hajiya Yardada Mai Kano Bichi, Labaran youth leader, Adamu Gidado (Disable Leader), Noman Leader Hajiya and Mansur Soja (Welfare).
