Kano Governor Leads Demolition Of Buildings On Public Land
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano at about 2:00 a.m on Saturday led the demolition of building on public lands.
The three-storey building with 90 shops was located on race course by Filin Sukuwa in Nassarawa local government area.
The governor who led the demolition exercise was accompanied by the Police Commissioner, Muhammed Gumel.
This action is making good of a promise by the Governor who earlier promised to demolish all structures on public property.
The Governor also promised to reclaim all properties fraudulently sold to groups or individuals in state.
