Court Convict Mother, Son For Alleged Bet9ja Fraud in Kaduna

A Kaduna High Court under Justice A.A Bello has convicted one Oluwayemisi and Joshua reported to be mother and her son for alleged Bet9ja fraud and False Information.
It was reported that Oluwayemisi and Joshua squandered the sum of N5,600,000 on sports betting and caused a false petition to be sent to the EFCC, alleging that the money was fraudulently withdrawn from their Opay account to a sports betting account without their authorisation by an unknown individual.
The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on the 26th of April arraigned the two before Justice A.A Bello of the Kaduna State High Court on a separate one count charge bordering on false information.
