Inconclusive Election Is An Aberration In Democracy – Kano REC

The Resident Electoral Commission (REC) in Kano Amb. Abdu Abdu Zango has described an inconclusive election as an aberration in Democracy.
Zango revealed this during a stakeholders meeting on supplementary elections.
He described Kano as an important state in Nigeria that needs to set the pace for others to follow.
He pledged to conduct free and fair supplementary elections in the state and appealed to political parties to eschew violence.
The meeting was attended by representatives of political parties, Civil Society Organisations, journalists and other relevant stakeholders.
Amb. Zango said the supplementary elections will be conducted at 14 and 2 state and federal constituencies covering 73 registration areas and 206 polling units.
